Split Personality in St. Pete

My husband and I went to St Petersburg, Florida to celebrate the Fourth of July  with our daughter. We live across the bay in Tampa, but decided that we would spend the night to avoid the late night drive home. We stayed that the Hilton on First Street South just a short walk from Vinoy Park where the fireworks are held.  You can see the stadium where the Tampa Bay Rowdies play is right across the street.

The staff was very friendly when we arrived and gave us both the extra points for being gold members but breakfast vouchers as well. Throughout our visit everyone we encountered was pleasant and prompt.

The room appeared to have undergone a soft renovation recently. The carpet, upholstery and curtains looked new. We stayed on a hypoallergenic floor so there was an air purifier in the corner of the room.

My husband notified the front desk when we checked out and we did get an email from the general manager inquiring about our stay and asking for feedback. I have replied to the email and hope that the necessary repairs will be made. The hotel is in a great location and the rates are reasonable for the area.
